so much potential, but not worth the money and now I have an **** paperwieght!

Unfortunately my experience was not that good...the stencil quality is excellent, but my entire stencil came in yellow unlike the pictures which show the stencil (yellow) on white backing paper, making the yellow stencil on yellow backing paper hard to see. not a major issue and a minor inconvenience at best. Now to the nitty gritty, the stencil is very sticky and unforgiving meaning if you make a mistake or want to readjust the pattern, it is not easy to do. Once everything was in place and I went over several times to make sure the stencil was sticking well, I painted my rifle and all seemed good until it was dry and I took off the stencils to find that the paint for most every star and several of the stripes had bled through the stencils and my rifle looked like I painted the stars and stripes by hand. I'll be honest, I'm too embarrassed to show anyone my work for fear of being laughed at for ruining my rifle with a shoddy paint job. Now mind you I watched the YouTube video SEVERAL times and followed it to a T and unfortunately I guess my rifle's handguard is not as smooth as the one in the video which I guess allowed the paint to seep through...If any of you are truly going to try this understand that your rifle will probably not look anywhere near as good as what's on the video and I would try it on your least favorite rifle if you have more than one......On the bright side shipping was very fast!
